At Davies Hothem Injury Law, attorney Kristy Davies provides legal representation for individuals, workers and families that experience severe personal injuries and loss of life. She takes on a wide range of cases, including:
- Car accidents
- Catastrophic injuries
- Dangerous products
- Motorcycle accidents
- Premises liability
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Truck accidents
- Victims of crimes
- Wrongful death
Ms. Davies, who obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law in 2010 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2006, commenced her professional journey by advocating for victims of crime in her role as an Assistant State Attorney within the First Judicial Circuit of Florida. Over a span of 18 months, she developed and refined her abilities in trial advocacy by serving as the primary prosecuting attorney in more than 20 cases that were presented before a jury.
Hailing from Georgia, Ms. Davies gained extensive trial experience by working for a top personal injury firm that focused on catastrophic damage and wrongful death claims early in her career. For seven years, she successfully sued automakers, transportation firms and other large corporations, resulting in numerous multimillion-dollar settlements and jury verdicts.
Ms. Davies has seen the impact on victims and their loved ones of catastrophic injuries like paralysis, amputation, TBI and death. She is also familiar with the lengths to which insurance companies, transportation firms and automobile manufacturers would go in order to avoid paying for or compensating victims, and she remains committed to providing her clients with the compensation and justice they are entitled to.
A leader in the legal and political spheres, Ms. Davies is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, where she was picked to participate in The LEAD program in 2016–2017. She has spoken at conferences and seminars, and she has co-authored two volumes of "Commercial Transportation," a study published by Mercer Law Review.
