Porter Individually as Surviving Spouse of Barbara Anne Porter and as the Executor of the Estate of Barbara Ann Porter, Deceased Liberty County State Court Civil Action No. 11SV286 Date August 2015 Jury  Verdict for Plaintiff of $3,500,000 Summary: Two and a half week medical malpractice trial which ended in a jury verdict for Plaintiff widower.  Plaintiff’s wife/decedent was the Chief Surgical Services nurse at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, GA who was admitted as a patient to said hospital (LRMC) by Dr. Weiss with a presumptive diagnosis of stomach ulcers and acid reflux.  Within approximately 26 hours of admission, Ms. Barbara Porter had a heart attack and died.  Said Defendants Stephen Weiss, MD and Triana Pacurar, MD were found to be negligent in diagnosing and timely treating Ms Porter’s acute coronary syndrome and heart disease.

  • Susan Hendrix Horton v. George Hendrix, Jr. and George Hendrix, III-Long County Superior Court. Summary: Represented the defendant George Hendrix and obtained a defense verdict for Mr. Hendrix against his sister who had brought suit against Mr. Hendrix alleging that he had exerted undue influence on his mother in forcing her to change her will to give him the majority of her estate.  Plaintiff also contended that the Testator was incompetent and unable to create a valid codicil to her will at the time she did.  After a 5 day trial, the jury returned a verdict for the defendant Mr. George Hendrix.  , 2006

Bobby Herrington, MD-State Court of Liberty County, Georgia Summary: Jury verdict of $4,500,000 for Plaintiff who suffered a punctured lung and subsequent brain damage when Dr. Herrington negligently read a chest xray as showing a collapsed lung which, in turn, lead him to negligently insert a chest tube into her lung when such was not indicated, causing her to become acutely hypoxic and requiring emergent transfer to Savannah and stabilizing treatment.  (The largest jury verdict in the history of Liberty County)., 2007
