J. Jeffrey Helms

Experienced attorney J. Jeffrey Helms is the founder of The Helms Law Firm. At his Homerville, Georgia, law office, he proudly represents the interests of victims of nursing home neglect, medical malpractice, and workplace accidents by helping them seek the compensation they need to allow them to recover from their injuries. In addition, he also represents families from Clinch, Coffee, Ware and Lowndes counties and surrounding South Georgia who have lost loved ones due to others' negligent acts.

Mr. Helms began his legal career in 1986 after earning his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and his admission to the State Bar of Georgia. Later that same year, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia approved him to practice in its courtrooms, and, in 1990, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit also granted him approval to practice.

Today, after nearly 30 years of practicing law, Mr. Helms has earned much respect and admiration for his legal abilities and dedication to his clients' interests.
