Regina I. Edwards is managing attorney of Edwards Family Law in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ms. Edwards has 24 years of complex family law litigation experience. She has tried contested matters involving domestic violence, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable division of marital property, and contempt actions before judges and juries in Georgia superior and juvenile courts.
Before graduating from Tulane University Law School in 2001, Ms. Edwards focused on family law-related course work and clerked for several prestigious law firms, where she concentrated on defense litigation, fair housing litigation and public interest.
As a practicing attorney, she gained valuable litigating civil cases involving divorces, custody, legitimation, public housing, Social Security, disability, domestic violence, education, consumer advocacy and unemployment. She joined her current law firm in 2005. Today, her practice is devoted solely to family law and estate planning.
Ms. Edwards is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of Georgia. She is also active in numerous professional associations and engages in pro bono activities.
