William B. Ney

As a founding member of Ney Russell Hoffecker & Erck, William B. Ney is committed to representing clients in Atlanta, Gainesville, Tucker, East Point, Smyrna, Marietta, Decatur, Roswell, Cartersville, Rome, Mableton, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Peachtree City and Lawrenceville, Georgia, as well as people throughout DeKalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, Cobb, Henry and Newton counties. Mr. Ney focuses his practice on business law and family law, handling cases that involve the following matters: legal malpractice, professional liability (non-medical), construction law, contract litigation, probate litigation, commercial law, contracts, divorce, child custody and visitation.

After earning his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, Mr. Ney went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 1999.

For more than 10 years, Mr. Ney has been helping clients resolve business and family matters. He understands that these cases require a strict attention to detail, and works closely with the people involved. When possible, Mr. Ney utilizes arbitration and mediation in order to reach a solution that is more affordable for clients. As a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Mr. Ney is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. He is also admitted to all Georgia state trial and appellate courts.

Active in the legal community, Mr. Ney is a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, sections of the State Bar of Georgia, including the Family Law Section, and also the Metro Atlanta Chamber.
