Jeffrey N. Powers is the founding partner of Powers Law Group, LLC a leading personal injury law firm in Macon, Georgia. Mr. Powers devotes his law practice to personal injury and workers compensation law. His firm represents Georgia residents in matters involving trucking, automobile, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, burn injuries, wrongful death and other catastrophic injuries caused by negligence.

- Muscogee County, Columbus, Georgia - Motor Vehicle Accident. We were hired to represent a driver who struck by a motorist who failed to yield the right of way and was injured. Our client went to the hospital with broken ribs and soft tissue injuries to his body. He returned back to Pennsylvania where he lives. Total recovery was $125,000., 2020

Each defendant paid their policy limits and we recovered the Underinsured motorist coverage. Powers Law Group also demanded the property damage policy from the striking vehicle insurer which was more than the $250,000 bodily injury policy. - Motor vehicle accident - side swipe; minor property damage to vehicle; Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. Client was sideswipped in traffic accident and taken to the hospital for observation and diagnostic treatment for about one week. - Twiggs County, Jeffersonville, Georgia. This was a motor vehicle accident. It was Superbowl Sunday and our client was driving his kids home from visiting their grandparents. The power in the town was out because of a thunderstorm. A drunk driver swerved into the lane of our client who slammed on his brakes. A police officer was traveling behind our client. The only contact made was between the police officer and our client's vehicle. He had neck surgery and went back to work. The case settled at mediation for $270,000. , 2019
- Motor vehicle accident in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. Client was on the way from home car shopping with her mother. Defendant owned some local hotels in Macon. He was driving a Ford F-150 truck as he followed our client on the interstate. Traffic slowed down and Defendant failed to stop in time crashing into the rear of our client. She went to the hospital, primary care doctor, then 19 months later lumbar fusion on her low back. She never returned to work as a nurse at the hospital. - Motor vehicle accident, Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. Client was a passenger in a car with her sister. They were hit by a drunk driver who caused the wreck. Client had soft tissue spinal injuries and she went to a hospital and a chiropractor. Her medical bills were about $14,000. The case settled for $53,500 after a lawsuit was filed. , 2020
- Workers compensation motor vehicle accident in Baldwin County, Georgia. Client was on a call to deliver furniture when the van was crashed into by another vehicle. - Baldwin county motor vehicle accident. Client was a passenger in a car driven by his friend without a seat belt. The young men attended a party a night club with no surveillance cameras and no receipts of them being in the club. Unfortunately, when they left the club several hours later, the driver was speeding in excess of the speed limit and crashed the vehicle on a two lane road which killed our client. - Motor vehicle accident in Warner Robins, Georgia. Defendant was waived out by another motorist. As a result, our client t-boned the defendant driver and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. He had neck surgery about 18 months after the wreck. Lots of pre-existing medical issues. Case settled for $390,000. , 2019
- Motor vehicle accident in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. Client was driving home with her two younger children in her father's car. The issue was whether her head lights were activitated. Defendant was driving a church van and was sick. Instead of driving to a local hospital, she used the van to go to a friend's home. On the way, she turned left in front of our client which totaled both vehicles. Our client broke her knee, tibial plateau fracture, and femur. Case settled at mediation for $450,000. , 2019
- Total settlement for a commercial truck driver where the brakes failed in his truck and he crashed into a fully loaded tractor trailer. He was flown by helicopter from the scene of the accident to a Savannah hospital where he spent weeks recuperating and having multiple orthopaedic surgeries. He suffered a traumatic brain injury, broken femur, lacerated spleen, arm and hand. Client recovered $235,000 and $116,000 for an administered medicare set aside for his future medical needs., 2017
