Richard Lamar Sizemore handles complex personal injury cases involving catastrophic injuries. He represents clients in wrongful death, medical negligence, nursing home, automobile and tractor-trailer, product liability, and whistleblower cases in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
Mr. Sizemore received his Bachelor of Arts from Furman University in 1997. He earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University in 2000. Following law school, he clerked in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
In his professional career, Mr. Sizemore has represented clients in cases involving train derailments, generator explosions, house fires, automobile and tractor-trailer wrecks, crane collapses, equipment failures, medical negligence, and defective products. He has represented inventors in intellectual property cases, whistleblowers in cases involving Medicare and Medicaid fraud, and first-party property insurers and insureds in large-value subrogation cases.
Mr. Sizemore is licensed to practice law before the state and appellate courts of Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. He is also licensed to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the 4th Circuit, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the District of South Carolina, and the Northern District of Florida. He is the Immediate Past President of the Macon Bar Association and a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the William A. Bootle American Inn of Court.
