Shelley Davidson

Shelley Davidson is a partner at the law firm of Westmoreland, Patterson, Moseley & Hinson, L.L.P., in Macon, Georgia. With more than 40 years of experience assisting clients throughout Peach State with Social Security Disability law matters, she is well-informed in her approach and passionate about providing a smoother alternative to pursuing benefits independently.

Receiving her associate’s degree with honors from Middle Georgia State College in 1977, Ms. Davidson enrolled at the University of Georgia and graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude. In 1982, she received her Juris Doctor from the Mercer University School of Law. Licensed to practice in Georgia, she is admitted to practice before all federal courts in Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Throughout Ms. Davidson’s illustrious career, she has been honored by various legal organizations for her contributions to the legal community. Apart from holding an “Excellent” rating on Avvo, she has received Martindale-Hubbell’s Distinguished* peer-review rating and the Gold Client Champion award. At the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), she is currently a member of the Council of Past Presidents.

Ms. Davidson holds memberships in the Macon Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia, serving as the chair of the annual Social Security program hosted by the latter. At multiple events sponsored by NOSSCR, The Florida Bar, the Legal Services Corporation and the Alabama State Bar, she has been a guest lecturer, sharing her experience and knowledge about the topics relating to Social Security Disability law.
