William Noland

Born in Kingsville, Texas, and raised in Lemoore, California, William H. Noland is the son of a U.S. Navy pilot and a public schoolteacher — values of service and discipline that continue to shape his approach to law and leadership. After earning his B.A. from Auburn University in 1997 and his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law in 2000, William made Macon his home. He and his wife have raised two sons here, and he remains deeply invested in the Middle Georgia community.

William is an experienced litigator who represents government entities, businesses, and individuals in a broad range of civil matters. His practice includes governmental liability litigation, election law, 42 U.S.C. §1983 litigation, property tax appeals, business torts, contract disputes, and insurance and injury litigation. In addition to trial work, William frequently provides general counsel and board counsel services for government agencies and private organizations throughout Georgia.

Over the course of his career, William has tried dozens of cases to verdict in both state and federal courts and argued appeals before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. His reputation for professionalism and integrity has earned him an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and recognition from Georgia Super Lawyers every year since 2021, following earlier selections as a Rising Star in 2013 and 2014. In 2016, the Macon Bar Association honored him with the William Augustus Bootle Professionalism Award.
