Brad E. Macdonald

The founder of MacDonald Legal Services, LLC, based in Marietta, Georgia, Brad E. MacDonald provides compassionate legal services to individuals and families navigating complex legal matters involving family relationships, parental rights and domestic disputes. Through his legal practice, he provides counsel tailored to each client’s circumstances, helping them understand their legal options and make informed decisions about matters that can have lasting personal and financial consequences.

Mr. MacDonald focuses his practice on family law, guiding clients through significant life transitions and disputes involving marriage, children and family relationships. He assists individuals in addressing sensitive legal issues while working to protect their interests and pursue practical resolutions. His approach encompasses both contested proceedings and alternative dispute resolution, allowing clients to explore appropriate paths based on their needs and objectives.

In addition to his work with clients, Mr. MacDonald maintains active involvement in Georgia’s legal community. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Family Law Section of the Cobb County Bar Association. He also serves as a barrister in the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law American Inn of Court, an affiliation that reflects his engagement with the professional community focused on family law.

Mr. MacDonald’s legal education began at Emory University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law, completing the academic preparation for his legal career. In recognition of his contributions to the legal profession, he received an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. MacDonald is admitted to practice law in Georgia and before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. These admissions authorize him to represent clients in the applicable state and federal courts.
