J. Wickliffe "Wick" Cauthorn

Attorney J. Wickliffe Cauthorn is the founder of The Cauthorn Firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Cauthorn devotes his practice to personal injury law, serving individuals and their families in the Atlanta, Athens and Macon metropolitan areas. He handles all types of personal injury actions, including those involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and sexual abuse.

Prior to founding his firm, Mr. Cauthorn practiced at a large personal injury law firm, litigating numerous cases on behalf of injured clients. This experience provided him with substantial trial experience, and gave him a passion for helping injured individuals and their families.

Mr. Cauthorn understands the devastating financial, mental and emotional impact a catastrophic injury can have. He knows that efficient, accurate advice is critical, and he is firmly committed to helping every client attain justice and receive fair and adequate compensation.

In addition to managing his practice, Mr. Cauthorn is active in his legal community. He belongs to the New York City Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He is secretary of the board of trustees for the State Bar of Georgia’s General Practice and Trial section.

Mr. Cauthorn earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and received his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating cum laude. He holds a license to practice law in Georgia and New York, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Northern District of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
