Ms. Leonard pursued her undergraduate education at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she majored in business administration and received a Bachelor of Science cum laude in 2006. She remained in Tennessee for her legal education at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, and in 2009, she was awarded her Juris Doctor. After she graduated from law school, Ms. Leonard spent several years at a well-known family law firm in Atlanta until founding The Leonard Firm in November 2020. Admitted to practice in Georgia since 2009, Ms. Leonard is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.

Ms. Leonard is well-versed in all aspects of family law. A large portion of her client base has consisted of people who are facing the end of their marriages, and she works with them on the related issues of child custody and visitation, alimony, child support, and the division of marital property. Ms. Leonard has also represented people whose marriages have already been legally dissolved and who are now seeking to have existing support or parenting orders enforced or modified, and she has helped domestic violence victims obtain orders of protection from the court.

Ms. Leonard has delivered numerous presentations on family law topics to groups of fellow professionals, and she has written articles for major publications. Her many professional affiliations include the Cobb County Bar Association and the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia.
