Mazi Mazloom is an attorney at and the founder of The Mazloom Law Firm, LLC, located in Marietta, Georgia. He focuses his practice exclusively on criminal defense and DUI/DWI matters. Serving clients throughout the state of Georgia, he has been defending the rights of those who have been accused of wrongdoing for more than 24 years.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice, Mr. Mazloom graduated from Georgia State University. He pursued his legal studies at John Marshall Law School, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1997. While in law school, he was president of the American Association for Justice and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Additionally, Mr. Mazloom was the team captain of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division Mock Trial Team and the social chair of the Student Body Association. After law school, he served as an assistant solicitor general at the Cobb County Solicitor General's Office, making him the first Iranian American prosecutor in Georgia, and later, as an assistant district attorney at the Cobb County District Attorney's Office. He also completed the Trial Advocacy program at the National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
Mr. Mazloom is actively affiliated with the legal field, and this is seen in his memberships in the Marietta Business Association, the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the State Bar of Georgia, the Cobb County Bar Association, the Supreme Court of Georgia's Commission on Interpreters, the National College of DUI Defense and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also a founding member of the Marietta Lawyers Club.
Recognized for his impeccable work in criminal defense, Mr. Mazloom has been listed on the 10 Best Attorneys for Georgia by the American Institute of DUI/DWI Attorneys and on the Premier 100 Trial Attorneys in Georgia by the American Academy of Trial Attorneys. He was also included in the list of Top 100 Criminal Defense Lawyers in the State of Georgia by the American Society of Legal Advocates and the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers.
