Robert F. Schnatmeier, Jr., a native of Atlanta, represents clients throughout Georgia in the areas of criminal defense, DUI defense, personal injury and civil litigation. After he completed his law degree in 1994, he was admitted to the Georgia State Bar. Prior to entering private practice, he was a prosecutor in the State Court of Cobb County and then served as a prosecutor for DeKalb County where he was an Assistant District Attorney. He is now a partner at Smith, Schnatmeier, Dettmering & Reeves, LLP.

Mr. Schnatmeier is actively involved in the legal community and belongs to several Georgia and Cobb County legal associations, including the Georgia Trial Lawyers, Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Cobb County Bar Association, Christian Lawyers Fellowship and the Christian Legal Society.  Mr. Schnatmeier has served as President of the Cobb County Bar Association and of the Cobb Bar's Criminal Defense Section. He also serves as an associate judge for the Municipal Court of Marietta.
