Charles M. Ferguson, Jr.

A partner at the Monroe, Georgia, based law firm of Atkinson Ferguson, LLC, Charles M. Ferguson Jr. provides a comprehensive range of services to various businesses across a broad array of industries. His experience includes representing Georgia counties and related government entities, serving as outside general counsel to small businesses and litigating business disputes.

Mr. Ferguson graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2000 from the University of Georgia. He remained in Athens and attended the University of Georgia School of Law and received his Juris Doctor cum laude in 2003. He is licensed to practice in Georgia and Alabama.

Mr. Ferguson serves as a trustee of Walton County Foundation, Inc., chairs the Board of the Walton County YMCA and serves as Administrative Council Chair of the Monroe First Methodist Church. He participated in the 2020-2021 Leadership Georgia Program dedicated to preparing strong and effective leaders for the future development of this state.
