C. King Askew

Attorney C. King Askew is a founding partner of Brinson, Askew, Berry, Seigler, Richardson & Davis, LLP, in Rome, Georgia. Mr. Askew handles high net worth matters of estate planning, offering advice and strategies. He also advises business clients in the health care industry such as physician practice groups looking for day-to-day legal advice or guidance regarding corporate structure or governance.

Mr. Askew serves clients throughout west Georgia in cities, including Atlanta, Calhoun, Cartersville, Cedartown, Dalton and Rome, as well as Bartwo, Floyd, Fulton, Gordon and Polk counties. He has been admitted to practice in Georgia since 1971.

In addition to practicing in all Georgia state courts, Mr. Askew appears before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the U.S. Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Askew has received several honors for his dedication and performance in the legal field, including being inducted as a fellow into the American Bar Foundation, the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Georgia Bar Foundation. He also belongs to the Gridiron Secret Society and has held roles in several different community organizations over the course of his career.

Mr. Askew earned a bachelor’s degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and attained his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He is a member of the international legal honor society Phi Delta Phi and belongs to several other professional organizations, including the Rome Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association.
