J. Anderson (Andy) Davis

One of the founding partners of Davis, Lucas, Carter, LLP, a law practice based in the city of Rome, Georgia, J. Anderson (Andy) Davis is a seasoned business litigation attorney. Practicing law for nearly four decades, he has extensive experience when it comes to handling complex litigation matters involving government official liability, government law and class action cases.

One of the recent landmark cases involved Mr. Davis as a key player in the city of Rome's legal action against more than 50 defendants, accusing them of their involvement in the manufacturing and mishandling of PFAS and PFOA chemicals. Here, not only did he seek justice on behalf of the city of Rome, but he also addressed pressing environmental concerns.

Mr. Davis graduated from the University of Georgia in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in political science. Later, in 1984, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. The same year, he was admitted as a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and since then, he has represented his clients in courts throughout the state.
