Lee Carter

Lee Carter is a partner at Davis Lucas Carter LLP, located in Rome, Georgia, focusing his practice on business litigation and corporate law. His practice extends to throughout Georgia, catering to clients in both boardrooms and courtrooms across the state.

Mr. Carter graduated with history and political science degrees from the University of Georgia in 2005, Magna Cum Laude with Honors, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He continued his studies in Athens at the University of Georgia's School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 2008. 

Licensed for nearly 20 years, Mr. Carter's legal journey began at King & Spalding, LLP in Atlanta. Over a decade ago, he returned to his roots in Rome where he has built a well-rounded practice that uniquely represents business clients in strategic boardroom matters and complex court proceedings. 

Admitted to practice in Georgia since 2008, Mr. Carter holds admission to various courts, including the: 

· United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia

· United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit

· Supreme Court of the United States

· Georgia Supreme Court

· Georgia Court of Appeals

A dedicated member of the legal community, Mr. Carter is one of the Rome Circuit's representatives on the Board of Governors.
