Beverly Hall

Beverly Hall is a mergers and acquisitions attorney who represents veterinarians and veterinary practice owners in the purchase and sale of veterinary practices. Over more than 25 years, she has handled hundreds of veterinary practice transactions, including more than 100 sales to corporate consolidators. She has negotiated opposite every major consolidator in the industry.

Beverly represents veterinarians and practice owners across the entire arc of practice ownership. She handles the first practice purchase, associate buy-ins and sales to associates, and the legal needs of a growing practice. When the time comes to sell, whether at retirement or as an early exit, she guides owners through the sale of the practice to a corporate consolidator, an associate, or another veterinarian. She also handles the lease or sale of the practice real estate, whether in conjunction with or following the practice sale.  Many clients have worked with Beverly from their first acquisition, through the life of the practice, to its final sale.

Beverly's legal focus on veterinarians began, fittingly, with a sickly Himalayan kitten who was her companion through her Emory law school years. The kitten's frequent veterinary visits grew into a trusted relationship with her treating veterinarians, and in time Beverly became that practice's attorney. One introduction led to another, and to this day Beverly's clients come to her entirely by referral. Through the years, Beverly has come to know veterinarians of every specialty, along with the veterinary business brokers, accountants, consultants, lenders, real estate agents, architects, contractors, and insurance providers who make up the veterinary transaction world.

Beverly's work is transactional. Her approach is relational. No two practices and no two sales are alike, and she brings personal attention and care to each transaction, informed by her deep knowledge of the veterinary industry. She and her clients talk like friends during the deal, and many stay in touch long after closing.

Beverly is a partner with LaFon & Hall, one of the longest-standing law firms in Roswell, built on more than 40 years of trusted client relationships. She also maintains a selective family law, estate, and real estate practice. She received her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, where she was managing editor of the Bankruptcy Developments Journal, and graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has been licensed to practice since 1986 and has held Martindale-Hubbell's AV Preeminent rating, its highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards, for more than 25 years.

Beverly is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
