Attorney J. Remington Huggins graduated from Georgia Southern University before going on to attend Florida Coastal School of Law on a Merit Scholarship. While attending Georgia Southern University, Remington obtained a full academic scholarship. In addition, he worked as a legal assistant for the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit Court in Statesboro, GA and was appointed a rare second term at his position. While in law school, Remington worked as a Corporate In-House Legal Intern at Healogics, Inc and served as a Law Clerk at The Butler Law Group. He was selected to compete on Florida Coastal’s national Mock Trial team and was selected and inducted into Florida Coastal’s Honor Board. In addition, Remington was the President and founder of the Georgia Bar Takers’ Association. Following his graduation and admission to the Georgia and Florida Bars, Remington worked as the managing attorney in his own practice specializing in representing policyholders in property insurance litigation matters. Thereafter, Remington accepted a job with The Bush Law Group, LLC in which he was named the Vice-President of the law firm and managed the Atlanta office. After four years of working with the Bush Law Group and receiving the "Attorney of the Year Award" Remington decided to start his own law firm named the Huggins Law Firm. Currently, he is the Managing Partner of the Huggins Law Firm in which he solely concentrates on property insurance coverage matters. He is admitted to practice law in the states of Georgia and Florida. As well as, The United States of America Northern District of Georgia and Middle District of Florida. In addition, he is admitted to practice in the Georgia Court of Appeals. Further, he has litigated cases in the Federal Courts of Tennessee and South Carolina.
