Experienced attorney Eileen Thomas founded her law firm, Eileen Thomas, LLC, in 2001. She established her solo practice in order to provide consummate family law services to the residents of the Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding North Georgia. In the nearly 15 years that have passed since her law firm's doors first opened, the residents of Atlanta have continuously turned to her for guidance and support as they face delicate family law matters, such as divorce and child custody, and when they are in need of a professional mediator.
Ms. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Union College in 1979, and she began her professional career as a plant engineer. After several years in engineering, she decided to further her education. In 1996, she earned her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, and the State Bar of Georgia granted her admission early the following year.
In the nearly 20 years that have passed since she began her legal career, Ms. Thomas has established a reputation as a dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced family law attorney, as evidenced by her "Very Good" rating from Avvo. In addition, the legal community recognizes her leadership abilities, and she has served as a member of the board of the Collaborative Institute of Georgia and as co-chair of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals' Networking and Educational Forum.
In addition to her leadership roles, attorney Thomas is a member of a number of legal organizations. The Atlanta Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the North Fulton Bar Association all benefit from her membership.
