Jim Fletcher

Jim Fletcher's practice is unique as he offers IN-PERSON HOME VISITS across the greater Atlanta area, and Facetime or Zoom VIDEO planning across Georgia.  This is helpful for clients with limited mobility & ability to travel, difficulty taking time off from work, young children, and other challenges with traveling to an attorney's office.  Appointments are also available at our office in Sandy Springs.

Combining a meticulous and methodical approach with empathy and enthusiasm, Jim serves clients with estate planning, such as wills and trusts, wealth protection, powers of attorney, health care directives and charitable planning, as well as Kids Safety Plans to ensure parents have a solid plan for their childrens' care in the event of the parents' absence.

Jim earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University in 2003. He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude (with honors) in 2007 from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was executive editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and president of Phi Alpha Delta. He obtained his license to practice law in Georgia the same year.

Jim has been rated by other attorneys with the highest ranking of "AV Preeminent" through Martindale-Hubbell, and he holds a perfect 10/10 rating on Avvo.  He is active in the Elder Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, the Sandy Springs Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Georgia, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, WealthCounsel, and is a graduate of the Elder Law College.
