A native of Savannah, Mr. Wasden embarked on his educational journey at The University of the South (Sewanee), culminating in 1981. He furthered his academic pursuits by obtaining a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1984, marking the year he began his legal practice in Georgia. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the U.S. Claims Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Mr. Wasden is deeply involved with the State Bar of Georgia and other professional bodies, having served on the executive council of the Younger Lawyers Section of the state bar for many years. Previously he was on the Statewide Federal Judicial Evaluation Committee and was a special master in the State Bar of Georgia Disciplinary Proceedings. He also holds membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). His insights have been featured in the Georgia Defense Lawyer Journal, and he has delivered numerous presentations to professional organizations on varied subjects.
