John P. Webb

An accomplished attorney with over 25 years of experience, John P. Webb has achieved a great level of success representing the best interests of injury victims and their families. As a partner at the law firm of Smith, Welch, Webb and White in Stockbridge, Georgia, he serves clients throughout McDonough, Jackson, Barnesville, Peachtree City and Griffin. 

An erstwhile prosecutor of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit, Mr. Webb has handled hundreds of criminal and civil jury trials. Clients rely on his services in matters related to auto accidents, wrongful death, truck wrecks, DUIs, medical malpractice, product liability and premises liability. Some of the multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements he has obtained for his plaintiff clients include:

· A $6.2 million settlement in a drunk driving case

· A $2.5 million recovery for a truck accident victim

· A $2.3 million settlement in a wrongful death case

· $1 million each in a premises liability case and dump truck accident case

A 1986 B.A. graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Webb obtained his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1994. He was admitted to practice in Georgia the same year. He regularly appears before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.

An inspiring speaker and presenter, Mr. Webb was among the board of governors and audit committee of the State Bar of Georgia. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Henry County Bar Association, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
