J. Shane Hudson

The founder of the Hudson Injury Firm in Tifton, Georgia, J. Shane Hudson represents clients in Tift and Lowndes counties and throughout the state. He works with those harmed by the negligence of other people or entities. He handles several types of personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including defective products, motor vehicle crashes, agricultural and other workplace accidents, nursing home and day care negligence, negligent security and other premises liability cases. Mr. Hudson also has experience in insurance bad faith litigation, where he assists policyholders who have wrongfully been denied their claims, and he has handled business disputes and other types of commercial litigation.

A Georgia native, Mr. Hudson received a Bachelor of Science in political science from the University of Georgia in 2002. Remaining in Athens, he pursued his legal education at the University of Georgia School of Law and graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor in 2005. After graduation, Mr. Hudson was associated with an insurance defense firm. That experience has enabled him to anticipate some of the tactics that he might encounter in his current plaintiff's practice. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Georgia.

Some of the representative results that Mr. Hudson has been able to obtain include a settlement in excess of $1 million for a man who was struck by a big rig and a $2 million policy limit recovery stemming from a fatal tractor-trailer accident.
