Sean A. Black

Sean A. Black is the attorney. His primary areas of practice include criminal defense, driving under the influence (DUI) and traffic defense, sex offenses and drug offenses. 

With more than 30 years of experience practicing law, Mr. Black is fierce defender of those accused of wrongdoing.

Mr. Black attended the Mercer University College of Liberal Arts in Georgia, where he received his bachelor’s degree in English. In 1992, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the Emory University School of Law.

In addition to his admission to practice law in Georgia, Mr. Black is licensed to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Mr. Black is an involved member of the legal community and participates in a number of legal organizations:

Additionally, Mr. Black is a founding member of the Georgia Innocence Project. He was also a DUI Lawyer of the Year of the Georgia Defenders of DUI Drivers.
