Sam D. Dennis

Aggressive yet compassionate, attorney Sam D. Dennis is the owner and founder of Sam Dennis Law, located in Valdosta, Georgia. He caters his personal injury service to people residing across the state of Georgia, and criminal defense and DUI services to those in the Brooks and Lowndes counties. He was admitted to practice in Georgia in 1995.

Upon graduating with his bachelor’s degree from the Magdalen College in Oxford, Mr. Dennis received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 1995. He is licensed to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia.

Mr. Dennis has served two terms as the president and several times as the vice president of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. A former president of the Valdosta Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, he also holds memberships in organizations such as the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He is a faculty member of the National Criminal Defense College, teaching all aspects of trial advocacy nationally and internationally.

With building relationships and fighting to win as the cornerstone of his practice, Mr. Dennis is incredibly determined to help his clients out of their current difficult situations using his innate courtroom skills and personal instincts. The experiences he gains from interacting with his clients allow him to thoughtfully craft their cases after understanding their cases’ subtleties and their long-term impact. A supporter of community causes, Mr. Dennis works closely with the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta, the Valdosta Wildcat Football, the Lowndes Vikings TD Club and the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church’s Parish Pastoral Council. Moreover, he serves as a member of the board of the Senior Volunteer Connection.
