Stephen D. Delk

As a partner at Jody D. Peterman, LLC, based in Valdosta, Georgia, Stephen D. Delk provides dedicated legal services to individuals and families facing serious injuries and negligence claims. His practice areas include personal injury litigation, premises liability, trucking and automobile negligence, medical malpractice and nursing home negligence matters.

Mr. Delk received his bachelor’s degree in political science, graduating magna cum laude from Valdosta State University in 2005. He later went on to attend Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, where he laid the foundation for his legal career and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2008. In that same year, he became licensed to practice law in Georgia.

With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Delk represents clients across South Georgia in significant disputes involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and major liability exposure. He is known for guiding clients through every stage of litigation, from the initial investigation and case development to trial and resolution. His work often involves dealing with complicated medical records, expert testimony and regulatory standards to advocate effectively on behalf of injured clients.

Mr. Delk is admitted to practice before the Superior Courts of the State of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Georgia, allowing him to represent clients in both state and federal courts.
