Erin King

Erin King has dedicated her career to protecting clients accused of crimes within her community and throughout Georgia. She is known within the legal community as an empathetic, compassionate, and zealous advocate who fights to obtain best results for her clients so they can get their lives back on the right track and away from the overwhelming inequities of the criminal court system. 

While in law school, motivated to make a difference, Erin gained invaluable experience interning with the Metro Conflict Defender’s Office in Fulton County, handling complex felony cases for indigent clients and discovering her passion for holding the government to its burden. Erin quickly realized how important the emotional experience is for the client, and how to be present for it, walking hand-in-hand with clients every step of the way. 

Erin King earned her law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School's Criminal Justice Honors Program in 2016, and joined Peters, Rubin, Sheffield & Hodges (Decatur, GA). For the next eight years, she tirelessly defended clients facing allegations from DUIs and drug offenses to physical or sexual abuse, RICO, gang, and white collar crimes, online sexual offenses, and abusive head trauma, among others. Erin King's work also extended beyond the courtroom, advocating for incarcerated clients in post-conviction cases to ensure they receive proper care and skilled representation. As an educator and advisor, Erin ensures each client and their loved ones stay well-informed so they can successfully navigate the present situation and to avoid future legal problems. 

Now a proud defense attorney at the Ghanouni Teen & Young Adult Defense Firm, Erin remains focused on empowering clients and their families by bringing her proactive, strategic, and tenacious approach to every case. Her meticulous preparation and unwavering commitment to advocacy ensure every client’s rights are protected, and every case receives the personalized attention it deserves.
