Details
Attorney Sarah Cornejo has a truly diverse practice that allows her to handle a variety of legal needs for her clients. Cornejo & Cornejo LLP, located in Woodstock, Georgia, provides representation to people and businesses throughout the greater Atlanta metropolitan area and other parts of the state. Ms. Cornejo is admitted to practice before all Georgia state courts as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
A significant portion of Ms. Cornejo’s practice is centered on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, in which she assists people who have incurred significant losses that result from the negligence or recklessness of other parties. Earlier in her career, she worked for firms that represented insurance companies in these types of matters, and that experience has allowed her to anticipate the types of tactics that defendants often employ. Ms. Cornejo’s plaintiff clients have benefitted from that knowledge, and they have received substantial amounts of compensation through jury awards and negotiated settlements as a result.
Ms. Cornejo also has a criminal defense practice in which she provides effective advocacy on behalf of clients who are facing misdemeanor or felony charges such as drug possession, assault and battery, traffic violations and drug possession. Other types of matters that she has handled since founding her firm at the beginning of 2020 have included estate planning and administration, immigration, and contract preparation and litigation.
Ms. Cornejo is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, where she majored in political science and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2013. Her legal education was obtained at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, and she received her Juris Doctor degree in 2016.
