Yamane serves clients in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he focuses his law practice in the area of personal injury law, dedicating his career to fighting for the rights of injured people. Mr. Yamane has a particular interest in serving clients in cases involving defective products, premises liability and motor vehicles accidents.
Born and raised in Hawaii -- he grew up on a pineapple plantation on Lanai -- Mr. Yamane earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in state courts in Washington and Hawaii.
Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Yamane began his legal career as a clerk for a judge in Seattle, Washington. Two years later, he decided to return to Hawaii and served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the city and county government of Honolulu, a position he held for two years. During that time, he prosecuted cases involving traffic citations, juvenile arrests and even felony charges and murder trials. From there he entered private practice, joining a colleague to focus on cases involving personal injury law.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Yamane is also involved in a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Hawaii State Bar Association and the Hawaii Association for Justice. He has earned the BV Distinguished* rating from the attorney peer-review service Martindale-Hubbell.
