Justin Yi-Da Tsai

A consummate professional with nearly a decade of legal experience, attorney Justin Yi-Da Tsai helps families in Honolulu, Hawaii, navigate their legal matters. From the law firm of Coates Frey Hackett & Gibson, AAL LLLC, he accepts a wide range of family law cases involving divorce, child custody, child support and post-decree modifications. He also assists with criminal defense and temporary restraining orders.

Mr. Tsai received his license to practice law in all the state courts of California after completing his legal education at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, in 2012. He received his Hawaii license in 2013. 

Early in his legal career, Mr. Tsai served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City and County of Honolulu for about four years. During that time, he prosecuted several misdemeanor and felony offense cases including domestic violence and traffic charges. Later, he worked at another esteemed law firm where he handled complex civil litigation claims.

Armed with these experiences, Mr. Tsai brings multifaceted skills and viewpoints to each case.
