Paul F. Cronin is an attorney and the founder of Cronin, Fried, Sekiya, Kekina & Fairbanks in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mr. Cronin concentrates his practice on personal injury law, serving Hawaii residents who have been injured or lost loved ones due to motor vehicle accidents, land and sea accidents, airplane and helicopter accidents, medical malpractice or other catastrophes caused by negligence. Along with personal injury, he has also practiced in the area of admiralty and maritime law.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Mr. Cronin graduated from Boston College Law School. He is licensed to practice in Hawaii, Alaska and Montana as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. In addition to four decades of litigation experience, Mr. Cronin is trained in alternative dispute resolution methods such as arbitration and mediation.
Outside of his law practice, Mr. Cronin is a member of several professional organizations, including the Alaska Bar Association, the Hawaii State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He also belongs to the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Cronin has received several awards, including the Hawaii Consumer Lawyer’s Lifetime Achievement Award. He also previously served as the Hawaii governor for the American Association for Justice and chairman of the admiralty rules committee for the Federal Bar Association.
