J.W. Bond

As the founding attorney and partner of Attorneys of Idaho, located in Boise, Idaho, J.W. Bond focuses his practice on personal injury, criminal law and DUI defense. With experience representing clients in high-stakes legal matters, he provides strategic counsel and advocacy tailored to the circumstances of each case. Mr. Bond draws on his legal experience as well as his background in law enforcement to provide clients with informed and practical legal guidance. Before entering private practice, he served as a police officer in Las Vegas, an experience that gave him firsthand insight into the criminal justice system and the challenges individuals may face when navigating criminal charges.

As a criminal defense attorney, Mr. Bond has represented clients facing serious felony allegations. In 2022, he served as defense counsel in a felony aggravated-assault case that proceeded to a three-day jury trial. Following the presentation of the evidence, the jury returned a not-guilty verdict.

Mr. Bond is admitted to practice law in Idaho and Nevada. He maintains active involvement in professional organizations dedicated to criminal defense, DUI law and trial advocacy. He is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, the Idaho Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Bond earned his Juris Doctor in 2013 from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His combination of legal training, courtroom experience and prior law enforcement service informs his approach to representing clients in personal injury and criminal matters.
