Attorney Jeffrey S. Marks represents clients throughout Chicago, Illinois. This includes the following counties: Cook, Will, DuPage, Lake, Kane and McHenry. He focuses his law practice on transactional matters including residential real estate and commercial real estate and litigation matters including insurance law and bad faith claims practice. With over 15 years in the profession, he has amassed experience in a variety of legal issues that make him a valuable asset to his clients.
In one year alone, Mr. Marks handled over 700 residential real estate transactions. Mr. Marks works with a full team of highly trained paralegals to make sure any issues are immediately responded to. Both the Northwest Suburban Bar Association and the Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago have given him a Certificate of Appreciation.
Before attending law school, Mr. Marks spend a decade as a video game producer and designer. He then attended law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2006. While in law school he was given the Dean’s Distinguished Public Service Award, and he is currently admitted to practice in the state of Illinois.
Mr. Marks is a member of the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois. During his spare time, he volunteers as a board member for the Eco Legal Counsel and as a volunteer for the Cicero Area Project. Mr. Marks holds a “Superb” rating from Avvo, the highest rating they provide.
