Gordon H. Hirsch

Gordon H. Hirsch is the managing attorney and founder of Hirsch Law Group, a criminal defense practice based in Carol Stream, Illinois, serving clients across more than five counties throughout the state. Over the course of his career, he has represented clients in thousands of criminal and civil matters, building a reputation for tenacious advocacy and courtroom command.

Mr. Hirsch's practice spans the full breadth of the Illinois Criminal Code. He has litigated hundreds of cases involving misdemeanor and felony traffic offenses, aggravated DUI, criminal trespass, residential burglary, retail theft, robbery, misdemeanor and aggravated battery, domestic violence, criminal sexual assault, aggravated unlawful use of weapons, unlawful use of weapons by a felon, manufacture and delivery of narcotics and homicide. This range reflects both the depth of his courtroom experience and his versatility as a defense attorney capable of handling the most serious and high-stakes charges an individual can face.

Before founding Hirsch Law Group, Mr. Hirsch began his legal career on the other side of the courtroom, working as a prosecutor. That experience gave him an insider's understanding of how the government builds and pursues its cases – insight he now uses to anticipate prosecutorial strategy and dismantle it on behalf of the accused. In 2013, drawing on this foundation, he established Hirsch Law Group with a clear mission: to protect and defend the rights of individuals facing criminal charges, regardless of the severity or complexity of their case.

At the firm, Mr. Hirsch is known for an aggressive, results-driven approach – one that combines prosecutorial insight with a defense attorney's dedication to his clients. When trial serves his clients' best interests, he fights to secure acquittals and dismissals; when a negotiated resolution offers the more favorable path, he leverages his experience to obtain outcomes that minimize the impact on his clients' lives.

Mr. Hirsch earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul College of Law in 2000 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce and finance from DePaul University, earned in 1994. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois.
