Attorney Profile

Adam Bolotin exclusively represents clients accused of committing serious criminal offenses. Working primarily in Chicago, he aggressively represents clients in the city and its surrounding metropolitan area. Before going into private practice, Mr. Bolotin externed for two federal judges where he gained invaluable knowledge and learned the most effective means to successfully persuade judges and secure favorable results for his clients. Mr. Bolotin has employed this expertise and devised the most effective defense strategies for hundreds of clients. At the federal level, Mr. Bolotin notably secured his client who pleaded guilty to participating in nearly a 1 million dollar mortgage fraud scheme to a one day time considered served sentence.  Mr. Bolotin filed a motion to suppress nearly 7 million dollars worth of cocaine in state court that convinced the prosecution to dismiss all charges without holding a hearing. These are just two instances where Mr. Bolotin has secured dismissals, motions to suppress evidence, not guilty verdicts, and favorable plea agreements for clients charged with serious drug conspiracies, gun offenses, murder, sex crimes, and violent felonies.

Mr. Bolotin is admitted to practice law in Illinois state courts and before several federal trial and appellate courts, including the Northern District of Illinois and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Mr. Bolotin is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and serves as a Critical Response Attorney for United States Concealed Carry Association members. Mr. Bolotin has several publications to his credit and routinely writes for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

Mr. Bolotin graduated Valedictorian from The John Marshall Law School. During law school, he won a National Closing Argument competition held at Harvard Law School, was published by The John Marshall Law Review and served on its editorial board.
