A Washington University graduate with a bachelor’s in economics and French, Mr. Berger studied law at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he was a dean’s list student. He was the all-school winner of Loyola's Intra-School Moot Court Competition and represented Loyola at the prestigious National Moot Court Competition where he was awarded Best Oral Advocate honors at the Regional Finals. Other laws school honors include being selected to the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team and receiving the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for legal research.
Mr. Berger earned his law degree and became licensed to practice law in Illinois in 1999. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois; the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana; the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Wisconsin; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
Active in his local community and legal circle, Mr. Berger serves on the board of several private and public associations including Special Olympics Illinois Leaders Council, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, and the Illinois Independent Auto Dealer Association. He maintains memberships with:
