Adria East Mossing founded Mossing & Navarre, LLC, in Chicago, Illinois, along with her partner, Jim Navarre, in 2011. Ms. Mossing brings a wealth of experience on both sides of the docket to her broad-spectrum personal injury practice, having worked at a prominent Chicago defense firm for 16 years, followed by a position at a plaintiffs' personal injury firm. In particular, she focuses her practice on complex medical malpractice matters, as well as cases involving wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, nursing home injuries and construction litigation for clients in the greater Chicago area.

Ms. Mossing has achieved notable successes in both the courtroom and at the negotiating table, including a jury award in excess of $10 million for an injured grandmother and a $7.875 million settlement in a medical malpractice case. The awards stemming from her successful cases total well in excess of $50 million.

Admitted to practice in Illinois since 1988, Ms. Mossing is also licensed by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Supreme Court of the United States. She has been a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates since 2011 and also maintains memberships in the bar associations for Chicago and Illinois. Ms. Mossing has served on the Board of Directors of the Women's Bar Association of Illinois since 2008. She served as President of the Women's Bar Association of Illinois for the 2016-2017 bar year. She holds an AV-Preeminent* rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts in English from Northwestern University in 1983, Ms. Mossing went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the DePaul University College of Law, at which she was the managing editor of notes and comments for the DePaul Law Review, in 1988. She currently serves on the DePaul College of Law Alumni Engagement Board. She has contributed material for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education's publications on civil trial practice since 1998.
