Alyease Jones

Alyease Jones, the owner of the Law Office of Alyease Jones, focuses her practice on family law matters. Her firm is based in Chicago, Illinois, where she was born, and she represents clients in Cook County and the broader Chicagoland metro area. Admitted to practicing law in Illinois state courts in 2014, she has since built a reputation for handling various family law issues.

Ms. Jones assists clients facing the end of their marriages, addressing divorce-related legal matters such as spousal and child support, division of marital debts and assets, and child custody and visitation. While she often encourages negotiated settlements, she is prepared to leverage her courtroom experience when litigation becomes necessary.

In addition to divorce matters, Ms. Jones prepares and reviews prenuptial and post-marital agreements and helps domestic violence victims seek court protection orders. She also represents clients seeking enforcement or modification of existing parenting or support orders.

Ms. Jones earned her Bachelor of Science in political science with honors from Northern Illinois University in 2008. She then attended the Cooley Law School, where she graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor in 2013. Her educational achievements include being on the honor roll and dean's list. 

Through her dedication and legal acumen, Ms. Jones continues to serve and advocate for her clients in the Chicagoland area, striving to provide effective and compassionate legal representation in family law matters. She also actively participates in the legal community, delivering seminars for The Chicago Bar Foundation and other organizations. Her pro bono work includes volunteering for E.V.E. (End Violent Encounters), Sixty Plus, Inc. Elderlaw Clinic, Washtenaw County Public Defender's Clinic and several legal aid organizations in Chicago.
