Brian L. Salvi

Brian L. Salvi has built a distinguished career at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, PC, in Chicago, having joined the firm in 2013 and been elevated to partner in 2019. From the outset, he immersed himself in high-stakes litigation, first serving as a law clerk and then assuming responsibility for personal injury, product liability and medical malpractice matters. 

Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Salvi’s advocacy has secured in excess of $375 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients. Notably, he obtained a $12.2 million jury award on behalf of a tractor-trailer driver severely injured in an I-70 collision and in 2022 led the team that negotiated a $4.25 million wrongful-death settlement – the largest on record in Kendall County – for the family of a 13-year-old boy killed in an auto accident.

A proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Salvi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the Mendoza College of Business and earned his Juris Doctor at the Notre Dame Law School. His commitment to the law extends beyond the courtroom – he is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Chicago and Lake County Bar Associations, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. He also lends his competence as a Chicago advisory board member of the Concussion Legacy Foundation.

Long before he began championing clients’ rights in Illinois courts, Mr. Salvi distinguished himself as a student trial advocate. As a member of Notre Dame’s mock trial team, he helped secure back-to-back regional championships in Louisville (2012, 2013) and compiled an undefeated 11–0 record en route to winning the 2013 national title in New Orleans – outperforming more than 220 collegiate teams. That combination of scholarly excellence, competitive drive and unwavering dedication continues to define his practice today.
