Brian S. Shallcross

With almost two decades of experience, Brian S. Shallcross is a well-seasoned attorney working at the law firm of Morici, Longo & Associates, with offices in Chicago, Illinois. Fighting legal battles for the victims of personal injury in a broad spectrum of cases, including automobile collisions, aviation, medical malpractice, product liability, commercial trucking accidents, premises liability and more, he has recovered millions for his clients.

After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University, Mr. Shallcross joined the DePaul College of Law for his law degree. Graduating in 2004, he was licensed to practice in Illinois in 2005. While in law school, he worked for the Illinois Department of Children & Family Services assisting attorneys guide guardians in securing benefits for their special needs children. 

Having served in several law firms in the Chicago area, Mr. Shallcross gained extensive experience litigating a wide range of high-profile and high-stakes cases. Over the years, he has had several big wins including a $5 million verdict for a client who had to undergo an unnecessary hysterectomy. He has also played a pivotal role in obtaining a $5.9 million jury verdict for a man who had suffered due to a negligent contraindicated stenting procedure and a $77 million settlement in the John Hancock Building scaffolding collapse lawsuits. 

As a result of his efforts and committed client service, Mr. Shallcross has several awards and recognitions to his name. He was selected to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s list of Top 40 Under 40 Attorneys to Watch in 2009. In addition, he has close affiliations with prestigious legal organizations, such as the American Bar Association, The Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
