While pursuing his legal degree, he was an active participant with the school's Corboy Mock Trial Team, and he earned several merit scholarships along with a number of awards for his exceptional academic achievements.

    A leader in his field, Mr. Monico has served on the adjunct legal faculty at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He has also conducted lectures and seminars before various local, state and national legal organizations on a variety of topics. Furthermore, he has served as chair of the Task Force on New Lawyers for the Illinois State Bar Association, where he was the recipient of the Board of Governors Award in 2014.
