Christopher Miller is a tenacious civil litigator and a founding partner at the law firm of Miller Berger, LLC, based in Chicago, Illinois. For nearly two decades, he has been defending claims against construction companies, businesses subject to the Biometric Information Privacy Act ("BIPA"), workers’ compensation, traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), burn injuries, loss due to catastrophic personal and property damages due to flood and fire.

Additionally, Mr. Miller serves as outside corporate counsel for many of his clients, is well-versed in matters related to construction negligence defense, mechanic’s liens, commercial litigation, municipality/governmental liability, premises liability defense, registered agent/corporate reporting and record keeping, breach of contract, trucking and transportation liability, and defective products.

A dean’s list law graduate of DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Miller received his Juris Doctor in 2002 after graduating with his Bachelor of Arts in political science in 1999 from Loyola University Chicago. He was authorized to practice in Illinois in 2003 and later in Indiana and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Following law school, Mr. Miller was a law clerk at the Cook County State Attorney’s Office and obtained valuable legal insight through employment at numerous other law firms. Afterward, he filled the part of managing partner at an illustrious, vast Chicago law firm boasting more than 150 lawyers.

Mr. Miller’s feats do not come to a stop in attending to the needs of his clients. He is a published writer, orator, panelist, professor and contributor in several journals and bar affiliation publications including the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, Chicago Tribune RedEye and the Associated Press. Furthermore, he has lectured at several educational institutions.

A long-serving member of the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA), Mr. Miller is a past member of its board and a part of its Scholarship Committee. Additionally, he joined the City of Evanston Mayor's Employer Advisory Council and is a former member of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association (IRTBA) and the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, Inc.
