Christopher S. Garrett

Licensed to practice in Illinois since 2017, attorney Christopher S. Garrett is a Partner at the law firm of Ankin Law. Working out of their office in Chicago, Illinois, he focuses on helping victims of personal injury navigate the intricate paths toward compensation and recovery.

Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Mr. Garrett’s enthusiasm for athletics took him to the Chicagoland area, where he played baseball at Benedictine University. It was here that he not only honed his athletic skills but also developed a robust competitive spirit that now fuels his legal career. He firmly believes that the discipline and drive cultivated on the field have been crucial in his approach to law, enabling him to vigorously advocate for his clients.

Mr. Garrett received his bachelor’s degree in business arts with a concentration in marketing/sports marketing from Benedictine University. He then went on to pursue his Juris Doctor at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, graduating in 2017. During his time in law school, he was actively involved in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Council and participated in the Pro Bono Clinic. Beyond his academic and extracurricular engagements, he was a member of the American Bar Association’s Client Counseling Competition team.
