Christopher V. Parente

Christopher Vincent Parente is a founding member and partner at Cheronis & Parente LLC in Chicago, Illinois, and serves the residents of the surrounding Chicago suburbs, as well as across Cook County and the state in strenuous legal matters pertaining to contentious criminal law cases such as white collar crimes and government investigations, and many federal crimes that carry high stakes.

Mr. Parente completed his undergraduate studies in 2001, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Scranton. He later enrolled in the Notre Dame Law School, where his academic prowess was evident through his work in the law school’s law review, and when he received his Juris Doctor cum laude. After obtaining his license to practice law in Illinois in 2004, he was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Throughout his illustrious 20-plus years of experience, Mr. Parente has accumulated a wealth of knowledge that is peerless in his field. He formerly served as an Assistant United States Attorney in both Miami and Chicago, where he took on major cases involving white collar crimes, public corruption, health care fraud, human trafficking crimes, cybercrimes, firearms offenses and violent crimes, among many others.

Mr. Parente now uses his experience as a former prosecutor on his clients’ behalf, armed with intricate nuances of the judiciary at both the state and federal levels that give them a searing advantage. Within his legal community, he is a member of the Chicago Inn of Court, and within his locality, he serves on the board of directors of the Partnership to Educate and Advance Kids.
