Equally passionate about election fairness and voters' rights, he has also successfully litigated numerous cases involving election reform, absentee voter ballot rejections and other related matters, with several of his cases resulting in highly cited reported decisions. Recognized for his efforts, he received the "Legal Eagle" award from the Independent Voters of Illinois Independent Precinct Organization in 2001.

A 1971 graduate of Northwestern University, Mr. Krislov obtained his Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 1974. Along with practicing before all Illinois and Michigan state courts, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Central Districts of Illinois, the Northern District of Ohio, the U.S. Tax Court and Claims Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 11th and Federal Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

He has served on the board of editors of Class Action Reports since 1992, and he has served on the board of trustees of the Chicago chapter of the Federal Bar Association and as a member of the Chicago Region ABA-IRS Nonfiler Initiative. He is also a member of numerous other local, state and national bar associations.

Widely regarded as a leader in his field, Mr. Krislov writes extensively and conducts lectures across his region on a variety of legal topics, and he is a member of the adjunct legal faculty at Chicago-Kent College of Law, conducting the Center for Open Government Law Clinic, advising and litigating actions for government transparency and accountability.
