With over 47 years of legal experience, Clint Krislov is the founder and principal attorney of Krislov & Associates, Ltd., located in Chicago, Illinois. Licensed to practice in Illinois and Michigan, his areas of focus involve securities litigation, consumer protection, debt collection and mortgage foreclosure abuses, whistleblower and qui tam, antitrust, pension, public interest, constitutional protections and government wrongdoing. 

With extensive experience and skill representing clients in complex legal matters, Mr. Krislov is a go-to attorney in the securities law, constitutional law, employment law and class actions arena. He is a zealous, tireless and dedicated advocate for the rights of his clients. He keeps communication lines open and keeps his clients informed throughout the case. Mr. Krislov has a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and has a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School. Mr. Krislov serves as an adjunct professor of law at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, teaching courses in consumer protection law and formerly taught federal income tax. He also founded and is the director of the Center for Open Government Law Clinic. 

Mr. Krislov previously served as a candidate for the U.S. Senate, Illinois Attorney General and Illinois Comptroller. While there, he was passionate about fighting for opening up elections fairly to all participants. He was awarded the Legal Eagle by the Independent Voters of Illinois-Independent Precinct Organization for his contribution to election reform. 

With immense experience representing clients in investor rights, fiduciary duty, ERISA, constitutional rights and class actions and public interest cases, Mr. Krislov has been a part of 300 reported decisions. He is a member of The Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Decalogue Society of Lawyers. 

Active and enthusiastically involved in the legal community, Mr. Krislov served as chair of The Chicago Bar Association Class Litigation Committee, as a board of editors’ member of Class Action Reports, and a board of trustees’ member of the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Additionally, he has taught in many seminars and continuing legal education platforms and has written and published his work in many prominent journals. 

Serving clients throughout Illinois, Mr. Krislov is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Appeals for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 11th and Federal Circuits, the United States Tax Court, the United States Claims Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois (including trial bar) and the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois, and for the Northern District of Ohio.
