Crystal R. Sims

Attorney Crystal R. Sims is a dedicated legal professional at Henderson Banks Law in Chicago, Illinois. Since joining the firm in 2018, she has focused her practice on personal injury law, covering areas such as medical malpractice, automobile negligence, premises liability and product liability. Additionally, she handles cases involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination and sexual harassment in the workplace.

A Wisconsin native, Ms. Sims has a rich background in community service, having acted as a community representative for over a decade before earning her law license. Her commitment to the community is reflected in her legal practice, where she tirelessly works to secure justice for her clients.

Ms. Sims holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in criminal justice and political science with a concentration in law from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. During her law school years, she gained substantial hands-on experience by clerking for a national corporate defense law firm and a mid-sized personal injury law firm, where she honed her skills in personal injury litigation.

An active member of the legal community, Ms. Sims is affiliated with several professional organizations, including The Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. She is also a proud founding member of the Chicago Lawyers Collective, an initiative aimed at fostering collaboration and development among legal professionals. Her comprehensive background and dedication to both her clients and her community make her a formidable presence in the legal field.

Outside of her legal pursuits, Ms. Sims is passionate about beauty pageant consulting. She works with Queen’s Counsel and volunteers for the Miss Illinois USA and the Miss Illinois Teen USA pageants, where she offers guidance and support to participants.
