For nearly three decades, Douglas W. Hyman has been a vehement advocate for his clients in their complex legal matters, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail, a relentless work ethic and enthusiastic zeal to see them free of their legal woes. A partner at Lewitas Hyman PC in Chicago, Illinois, he serves businesses and individuals nationwide in contentious issues pertaining to securities and investment fraud, and employment law, as well as being involved in arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and in courts all across the country.
Mr. Hyman completed his undergraduate studies in 1992, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. He went on to attend the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he sharpened his legal acumen and talents that are still mainstays of his practice today. He received his Juris Doctor in 1995, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in Illinois. Furthermore, he later gained admission to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
With a stellar career behind him and an empyrean practice in the present, Mr. Hyman has always prioritized the needs of his clients above all else. He understands the urgency of the legal challenges his clients face and strives to take the legal burden off their shoulders and onto his.
