Evan Finneke

An attorney with the Chicago-based firm C. Norris Law Group, in Illinois, Evan Finneke is committed to representing his clients across the Chicago metropolitan area. With an experience of about six years, he handles legal matters related to personal injury cases involving:

Obtaining his undergraduate degree in English literature from Marquette University in 2006, Mr. Finneke graduated from the Dominican University in 2010 with his master’s degree in library and information science. In 2013, he enrolled in the DePaul University College of Law and completed his Juris Doctor with a specialization in civil and criminal litigation in 2017. 

As a meritorious law student, Mr. Finneke was a recipient of the DePaul Law Merit Scholarship and the CALI Award for the DePaul Misdemeanor Legal Clinic. Additionally, he was selected to join the DePaul College of Law Appellate Moot Court Society as its member. 

Even before graduating from law school, Mr. Finneke went the extra mile to familiarize himself with the field and render his legal assistance. He served as a law clerk at the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender where he closely worked with the divisions of Legal Resources, Homicidal Task Force and Juvenile Justice. He was recognized with the Distinguished Benjamin Hooks Public Service Award for his pro bono services here. 

Fighting diligently against injustices, Mr. Finneke has represented clients on a broad variety of cases under the provisions of tort law. Over the years, he has fought a number of injury claims and obtained millions of dollars as compensation for his clients. In addition, he has acquired skills in arbitration and mediation by handling negotiations with insurance companies helping secure his clients fair settlements.

Mr. Finneke has had successes before the circuit and appellate courts in the state, and the Supreme Court of Illinois as well. A fierce litigator in court, he is empathetic in his approach toward his clients as he understands the plight of people caught at the short end of the stick.
